It is performed by means of metal fittings called cannulas which are coated diamonds of different thicknesses, for example diamonds 50, 75 and 100 microns are handled.

These cannulas are connected to vacuum pumps adjustable power and move on the treated area. The suction compresses the skin on diamonds and the movement of those on the skin produces a smooth, controlled and uniform exfoliation, as there is a perfect view of the depth of exfoliation. At the same time, the detached cells are sucked by suction equipment and deposited into a waste bottle, which keeps the microdermabrasion process free from contamination.
